Today I want to talk money. I want to talk about the price of gas in America...currently the average is $3.76 a gallon...$3.76 a gallon!!! You have got to be kidding me right? So I guess what I am hearing is that 10 years ago when we were averaging $1.62 a gallon that just did not happen to be enough. Did we have less oil available back then than we have now? In some instances I guess ignorance is bliss and we roll up to the pump with our wallets out prepared to pay whatever the sign says the price is. I understand that supply and demand must always play a part in any civilization where consumption without replenishment flourishes, but tell me why an alternative has not been initiated and instituted. In any world class organization you find the six sigma methodology put in place in order to limit cost, increase efficiency, and overall come to solutions instead of band aids for every issue. Is it so far fetched to believe that this country as a world class organization can't do the same? I think not.

America is always at the top huh? Why is it that from the induction of ability to produce electric cars, we haven't pushed the gas on getting that started and lessen the dependency on something that is not only tearing apart Mother Earth but also your wallets, dollar bills, and credit cards? Well one thing I know is that King Dollar has always ruled and unless we show that we can do without not only that but oil which also causes...war, we will continue to pay increased prices. The one thing that I would like to see is what would happen if each person took accountability for their consumption and we saw the number on that drop...would the gas price follow it? If we harnessed other avenues of energy for human consumption would that be capitalized on as well as the gas price at the pump dropped? Either way it goes, if we want to be here for another few thousand years we need to make a change and not wait around for the change to be made for you. Until the next post...
Peace and Love
