Human Fish Tank by CraftWorks

 Human Fish Tank -www.rts.edu

Is the fish in the tank aware that he is a prisoner?
Does he know what freedom really is?
Does he know that the ocean is where freedom really dwells?
Or does he think life in the tank is all there is?

Does the fish in the tank ponder on a world beyond the glass?
Or does he ignore his instincts so that his illusions stay in tact?
Does he peruse minuscule dreams of moving up to a bigger tank?
Or is he content with windmill bubble maker and artificial grass?

Is the aquarium's fish aware that he is there for entertainment?
To rejuvenate and provide energy to a privileged owner?
What if a tank mate told him of life outside his bars?
Would he believe it? or deny to rationalize the scars?

Is the fish aware that his processed meals are store-bought?
Perhaps on sale because of the over-stocked inventory?
Is he aware that the air in his gills are provided to him by a owner?
Or does he feel that something isn't right with the story?

Happy 4th of Ju-Lie
